Overview & Synopsis

The book presents the results of research carried out as part of the Med-Green project for the Arabic language research branch. The project involved the creation of an Arabic glossary of technical terms related to green building. The creation of the glossary required targeted research into scientific and technical terms from various academic, industrial, and commercial sources. The research also made use of validation and frequency tools from corpus linguistics. The resulting glossary is a linguistic and scientific tool that aims to fill, at least in part, a gap in a specific segment of European engineering lexicography for the Arabic language.
