Pressures on Higher Education
Overview & Synopsis
Pressures on higher education institutions are of two types: those that arise from the actions of the government or organized groups; and those that arise from natural'' forces, such as the decline in the birth rate. Higher education will no longer be a growth industry unless new constitutencies can be attracted to its institutions through continuing education. (Author/PG)
