The Expansion of Tertiary Education in Hong Kong.
Overview & Synopsis
This article considers whether the demands of the labor market in Hong Kong justify recent plans to significantly expand tertiary education in the colony. It shows that the earnings of university graduates have increased at a slower rate than that of workers without a degree, and maintains that there is no current shortage of university graduates.
