Confluent/Humanistic/Affective Education: A Set of Bibliographies.
Overview & Synopsis
Over 250 journal articles, ERIC documents, dissertations, and books dealing with confluent, humanistic, and affective education are listed in this annotated bibliography. Journal articles comprise those published since 1975. Other earlier works listed are considered of major importance in the field. The resources are listed under five categories: self-concept, values clarification, self-actualization, attitudes, self-disclosure and locus of control, and general affective education. Topics included in affective education are human development, black self-concept, urban schools, parent and leader effectiveness training, peer programs, open classrooms, and death. (KC)
