Overview & Synopsis
A British university-union project developed courses for union members that examined changes affecting industry, the work force, and social, political, and economic systems,as well as the role of unions in response. In contrast to labor education as role training, developers perceived the course as cadre education, intended to produce informed union activists. (SK)
