This paper addresses the convergence of inequality across social and economic dimensions in the United States. Chief among these are wealth accumulation, labor, and education. Specifically, I discuss the transference of wealth to the top of the income hierarchy, the automation and polarization of labor, and threats to public education. Additionally, I implicate neoliberalism in this multidimensional decline of social privileges, and I conclude with a glimpse into a dystopian future.

The authors examine the current frameworks for 21st-century education by critiquing the individualist view of education that underpins them. It is argued that such a view of education overemphasizes technical rationality and neglects the importance of moral values and the role of the community in shaping the individual's identity, ethics, and behaviors. An alternative framework that underscores the centrality of the community and the inculcation of moral values and reasoning abilities is proposed.

Given that private schools are institutionally divided into the binary structure of for profit and nonprofit, the existing tax laws and policies aimed at private education feature obvious flaws. Reforms to the taxation system for private education should bring it in line with the state's binary structure for the division of private schools, highlighting the charitable nature of private education, and instituting a more refined and scientific taxation system for private education. This review paper examines the theories of behaviourism, cognitivism, and constructivism that are considered to underpin the theory and practice of inclusive education. We argue that education practices related to the inclusion of students with special educational needs can be derived from each of the three theoretical perspectives. By adopting an eclectic approach to the use of theory-driven inclusive education, we suggest that inclusive education practices best serve the needs of all students, including those with special needs.
